The Thermal Blaster was a powerful chargeable weapon that Robin stole for Slade. After stealing it Slade reconfigures the blaster so it can be wrist worn. In later scenes, however, it is on Robin's left.He was forced to use it in order to save the Teen Titans from the Nano Probes that Slade secretly injected the team with. Shortly after firing several shots, it was crushed by Raven using her telekinetic abilities.

The Thermal Blaster was a very volatile device. It could be charged up to destroy a large area and to scorch through solid metal. It was kept in a levitation pod at a high security base. Unfortunately, not much more is known, since it was destroyed shortly after its introduction.
