Sentien is the home planet to the Locrix. It appears in "Troq".

Description

Sentien is a reddish-brown planet similar to the appearance of Mars. It is barricaded by a network of mines which has a delay of 20 seconds upon activation, connected by energy beams. If a mine is activated and explodes, all other mines will be affected in a chain reaction as well, unless the mine can be quickly isolated by bringing it far away from explosion range.

The planet contains a central power core system which acts a main power source for all Locrixes on the planet. It can be disabled with the use of a quantum eradicator.

History

Mines that form the barrier for the planet

In order to shut down the Locrixes and prevent them from dominating the galaxy, Val-Yor decides to travel to Sentien with the help of the Teen Titans, and plug a quantum eradicator into their central power core.

Starfire is tasked to move away some mines just enough for Val-Yor's ship to pass through. During the process, Starfire accidentally triggers a mine, however she manages to carry the mine way from the ship's reach before it explodes, averting a disaster.

Once landed, the Titans fight through several Locrixes, while Val-Yor and Starfire travel to the central power core, activating the eradicator on the central power core. Val-Yor is later trapped in a blue energy field, and despite refusing help from Starfire, the latter pulls him out and carries him to safety anyway.
