The Ion Amplifier is a weapon attachment that is capable of increasing a weapon's power to extraordinary levels.

History

In the episode "Deception", Brother Blood sent his H.I.V.E. Academy students out to rob banks, in order to fund the construction of the Ion Amplifier, which he claims to be the strongest weapon ever created. After Cyborg infiltrated the H.I.V.E. Academy as "Stone" to search for clues regarding the recent robberies, he came across Brother Blood's blueprints for the Ion Amplifier while hacking through the Academy's computer systems. Brother Blood suddenly revealed himself to Cyborg, and revealed his knowledge of Cyborg's identity. Employing a few mind tricks, Blood convinced Cyborg to work alongside him in his school, in exchange for use of the Ion Amplifier.

After the Teen Titans entered the H.I.V.E. Academy to check on Cyborg, they were ambushed by Cyborg, along with his new classmates Jinx, Gizmo, and Mammoth. Blood then commanded Cyborg to vanquish the Titans with the Ion Amplifier. However, to everyone's shock, Cyborg directed his sonic blast, strengthened by the Amplifier, towards Brother Blood, who managed to deflect the blast towards the walls, causing the H.I.V.E. Academy building to collapse. Blood and his students, along with the Titans, all managed to survive, but what happened to the Ion Amplifier afterwards is unknown.

Powers

Brother Blood said that the Ion Amplifier contained massive power, and when Cyborg used it with his sonic cannon, it would amplify his power by magnitudes unimaginable.
