David Slack was the head writer and co-creator of the Teen Titans series with Glen Murakami, He wrote through Seasons 1-4, but left after the fourth season which was intended to be the last season of the show. He came back to write the episode Go! in Season 5 and to help write the series finale movie Teen Titans: Trouble in Tokyo.

Life after Teen Titans[]
David Slack went onto other projects after he finished Teen Titans. He went onto write and produce Law & Order, a crime TV Series. He also was a writer for other animated shows from time to time, going from Legion Of Superheroes (2007-2008) , Slack worked on an action-crime drama named Magnum, P.I. between 2021-2022.
