Aftershock - Part 1 is the season finale of Season 2 and the 25th episode of Teen Titans series. It is followed by Aftershock - Part 2.

[1]Synopsis

The Teen Titans are riding in the T-Car, listening to Beast Boy try to make Raven laugh with his jokes, when they are suddenly attacked by Terra, who has now become Slade's apprentice. At first they are hesistant to fight their former friend, but later they are forced to because Terra is bent on killing them. She busts Plasmus, Overload and Cinderblock out of prison and uses them as decoys for the Titans, and with the Titans weakened, attacks and defeats all the Titans afterwards. The Titans are presumed dead, and subsequently Slade and Terra take over Jump City.

  Terra: Yes.
  Slade: You belong to me now, don’t you?
  Terra: I do.
  Slade: From this day forward, will you serve me and me only?
  Terra: I will.

  (Hands her the insignia, Terra attaches it to her breast plate)

Raven: To beat up the idiot telling jokes about him?

• Terra: You're not getting mad, are you, Rae? Oh, better be careful. Beastboy told me all about your temper tantrums.

Raven: Anger is pointless. My emotions are under control.

Terra: Na, na, na. Anger is pointless. And you're calling me a liar?

• Terra: Come on, Raven. What stinks the most? That I tricked you? That I nearly wiped out your team? That everyone liked me better than you?

Raven: Stop it! (doesn't look up)

Terra: Or is it that deep down inside you really believed I was your friend?

• (Beastboy holds onto the abyss for dear life, looks up to see Terra standing above him)

Terra: (smirking) Hope you're not expecting a goodbye kiss.

Beastboy: (His eyes pleading) Terra... you can't...

Terra: Watch me.

(Closes the abyss, mercilessly, trapping Beastboy and Cyborg inside)

• Robin: It doesn't have to be this way, Terra. I was Slade's apprentice once. I got out, so can you.

Terra: I don't need you to save me.
Robin: You can only save yourself.

Terra: I DON'T NEED SAVING! I'm not some sad little girl who's waiting to be rescued. I wanted to be this way. I wanted to go with Slade. I wanted to annihilate you and your pathetic friends! And now I never want to see your face again. (slams Robin with a huge boulder)
