Are there any episodes of the Teen Titans animated series that make reference to something from one of the issues of its tie-in comics series, assume the existence of something previously only established or introduced in one of those comics, or otherwise adapt anything from them at all, or are the references always only in the other direction?
Before any to come at me with hate comments, let me explain...I don't hate Teen Titans. Far from it actually.
Well I wouldn't consider myself a fan, I do enjoy the show quite a lot. But despite that, I can't help but think that Teen Titans doesn't deserve a revival.
And that's because of....believe or not....the fans.
I know it seems kinda strange to say that a fandom shouldn't have a show they love revived because of them, but in the case of Teen Titans, that's a for sure.
Most of you are probably confused about what I mean, so let me put down a picture to explain.
Yeah....Teen Titans Go!
No cartoon in the past decade (other than Thundercats Roar!) has gotten the amount of hate that this show has.
Honestly, Teen Titans Go! is basically the Johnny Test of the 2010s. A rather decent show that gets WAY too much hate than it deserves.
And don't get me wrong, I fully understand why people don't like the show. But Jesus Christ! it's not that bad! Cartoon Network has put out far worse than this.
Anyway, most of the haters of the series are fans of the 2003 cartoons. And like I mentioned before, the hate this show gets is quite legendary.
Almost every corner of the internet had someone hating on Teen Titans Go! And the hate has grown to such a toxic level, that haters have gone out of their way to no only attack people who have an opinion of it that isn't entirely negative, but also anyone who has worked on the show.
And it's because of all this that I don't believe we deserve a Teen Titans revival, and I think even Warner Bros know that.
