Teen Titans Season 3
8.5/10 Compared to the second season this is inferior, even then it’s still a great season.
Plot: The third season revolves around Cyborg as he goes undercover in the H.I.V.E. Academy and learns what it’s like to be human.
Positives:
1. The animation is still good.
2. The Titans were great throughout the season, especially Cyborg. Since he was the main focus of the season a majority of his episodes were amazing in giving him character development such as coming to terms with who he is and picking between Teen Titans and Titans East.
3. Brother Blood was a good villain, I wished we saw more of him though because his design and voice alone made him one of my favorite characters.
4. Between the comedic and serious episodes, I prefer the serious ones due to them having more entertainment value to me than the comedic storylines.
5. The voice performances were fantastic.
6. The season finale is awesome, it’s not as heartbreaking as the previous finale but still has so much depth and emotion with the conflict. Cyborg and Titans East battling Brother Blood was epic, and his defeat was satisfying.
Negative:
1. I’m disappointed with how they utilized Brother Blood. Compared to Slade who had multiple appearances to build him up as a villain Brother Blood didn’t have a big presence.
Overall, this season was great, even for being my 2nd least favorite season I still enjoyed so many aspects. Season 4 is next and I’m very excited to talk about that one.
